There are many excellent organizations in Houston providing front-line assistance to people in need through homeless shelters, prison ministries, drug treatment programs, and transitional housing.
The programs that are faith-based do a remarkable job healing the heart and preparing each individual for a new start in life. It is labor-intensive work, and highly relational, which requires solid intervention, patience, and time to nurture spiritual growth.
When these front-line organizations have completed their work of soul-healing, The Working Connection will take their graduates, and walk with them for the next critical phase of entering a productive life, giving them the ability to live on their own and provide for their families through a successful job experience.
